FAQs

How do I go about booking a session with you?

I usually reach out with a few dates to choose from and quote. You need to secure your session with a deposit.

How much are deposits and why do I need one?

Deposits are gauged by the amount of time needed to complete your tattoo piece. Example would be, $150 deposit when your quote is $300 and under.

$300 deposits for a final quote $300 and over.

A deposit covers your session in case of an emergency or a no call no show.

I hope to get a heads up when rescheduling, at least 24hrs, this is so if it’s possible- I get a chance to fill the spot.

clients are allowed 1 reschedule on their first booked session.

How much do you charge?

I’ve had to make a few changes since beginning work on large scale projects.

Everything is usually price by piece.

IF we are working on a large-scale piece that requires a commitment to multiple sessions, first session would be a flat rate and every following session would be $100/hr.

How do you determine how to charge large scale sessions?

Since large scale work is quite a hefty job that requires a lot of steps I think this would be the best option.

First session is charged by a flat rate including:

-Consulting for more clarity if there are certain specifications.

-Creating/ designing/ freehand/ drawing. (sometimes this can take the longest so please prepare to clear your day for the first session)

ps.(i try my best to bring your concepts to life, please communicate and collaborate during this stage)

-Fitting and measuring.

-Application (freehand included)

-Set up

-Tattooing

-Break down station.

Following sessions are $100/hr because at this point we are only focusing on completion, design concept should be finalized during this stage.

What happens if there is a last-minute emergency, or I am late?

-If you are more than 20 minutes late, you risk forfeiting your appointment or

your deposit. (Please be considerate of the other people scheduled that day)

-Deposits are held for up to 6 months (if you reschedule with time, deposit is forfeited otherwise)

-Please contact me if you need to cancel, reschedule, or are running late.

These time-based rules are flexible depending on the individual’s situation in case of serious emergency as long as in communication with the artist servicing.

It's important to remember that all appointments are scheduled in advance so if you can't make it, please communicate with me

How to you receive payment?

You can pay for you tattoo via

Cash/Zelle/Venmo/Cash App

Also, any preferred payment method via invoice if you are interested in paying with Debit/Credit Cards.

PON Studios also provides third party payment plans via

PayPal’s ‘After-Pay’ or Klarna

(possible credit check+ first payment required)

To make sure you are qualified for these payment plans they would have to be processed right before we start tattooing.

These are third-party options, and I am not liable for the process, that’s dealt from within the company of choice.

All payments are final and non-refundable.

How can i prepare for my session?

-Eat a full meal and hydrate

-NO alcohol/drug consumption (please respect this)

-In efforts to keep a controlled environment, I’m limiting guests to +1.

Where are you located?

I am located in New Jersey; actual location is provided to clients booking.

10-15 minutes from New York, NY.

I work from a private studio location.

I am accessible via bus as well. let me know if you need help arriving.

please specify if you are traveling from far to make sure to accommodate properly in case of flight delays, etc.

I appreciate folks who travel just remember you may have to return multiple times depending on the scale of the tattoo.

Please note this so you are prepared in case of tolls.

What else do I need to know?

I will not tolerate any disrespect.

This is my fulltime job, and I am a human bean just like you trying my very best.

Please be communicative if you need to make changes. These are permanent alterations.

Please be mindful that as I give you a break in case of emergency, I expect the same empathy in return.

I try my best to show up 100% in spirits and well rested but sometimes some sessions take longer than expected, meaning I may push back an hour or can possibly reschedule if I am not feeling well.

This is a one woman show, I am not a company. I don’t get sick days, or paid vacation. I try my absolute best to show on time and I just ask for patience in case something was to happen on my end.

I expect full transparency, if you are any kind of sick do not come in, we can reschedule no problem. If you come in sick you will be asked to leave and risk losing deposit. Getting sick can really mess up my schedule so I appreciate it and I don’t mind pushing back.
